Why choose a cotton snood for your dog? 

This natural fibre is prized for its exceptional breathability and lightness. Cotton fabric is incredibly soft but is also a very durable fabric and this is why we make our everyday collection of snoods from this fabric.  Because the cotton fabric breathes well, it is comfortable for your dog to wear in all seasons, including hot weather or in warmer climates. If your dog is a messy eater, food stains, oil and greasy marks can be removed with a commercial stain remover and your snood can also be washed in high temperatures, making it a very hygienic snood option. Our everyday cotton snoods can take a lot of use and wear very well, without the fabric snagging or pulling like some synthetic fibres. 

Caring for your cotton snood

We recommend you wash your cotton snood in cold or warm water the first one or two times to prevent shrinkage. After that you can wash it on any temperature, including high ones. Your snood is machine washable and may may be line dried or tumble dried on warm.  Our snoods are made from colourfast cottons, which means they retain their colour whether solid or patterned, wash after wash.  Do not bleach your snood. Caring for your cotton snood properly will prolong its life and that means many years of wear to come.
